Should Dangerous Sports be Allowed in Middle and High School?

Sports such as football, wrestling, gymnastics, cheerleading, and some track and field events are obviously dangerous sports but are beloved by the people who watch and are played by. These sports are celebrated by many but are also frowned upon because of their dangerous play factors to them.
Although these sports may be considered dangerous I believe they should be able to be played by all, especially middle and high school students.
Football is a sport played all around the world and is one of the most popular, beloved sports of the United States. It is also one of the most dangerous sports that consists of tackling and injuries. Football has major leagues such as the NFL and the college league, theses leagues all begin with the young people.
These young students want to play this beloved sport without the worries of injury who just wish to play.
Pole Vault is a unique sport with the worst injuries. But as a pole vaulter I believe that it should be a sport that anyone can try. This sport like any other sport brings people joy.
I don’t vault worrying about the risk of the sport or what could happen while I’m in the air, I just jump.
Sports help students it doesn’t hurt students. Students with the passion of a sport will most likely do anything to stay in the sport and to compete.
To compete in a sport the student must have passing grades and a high attendance rate. Therefore, students will push themselves to stay on top of things and work their hardest to stay in the sport.
If a sport is taken away from a child, the students will most likely give up at school because they have nothing to work towards. Students want to work to be the best at something, like sports. If they have nothing to work towards and look forward to, students wont try hard to stay out of trouble, to keep their grades up.
The sport I love most is Track and Field, I work for it and look forward to the competition. Track and Field ended a couple of weeks ago and I have seen a drop in my grades. I believe this is because now that I have all this time on my hands, I procrastinate and don’t work hard to stay on top of things because there is no meet or practice.
I know for a fact that I am not the only student that this is happening to. We work for things and if it is gone, there is not really any push to be better.
Sports bring kids and people of all age joy and excitement. Because they have something they’re good at and have a passion for. Sports can be considered a therapy, it gives people a thing to do and to love.
People of all age should have the chance to have a sport to love and be passionate about. Therefore, I believe that all people including middle and High school students should have the option to do sports.
